The Role

As a Piping Designer Level II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

• Assist in development of:
  • Equipment layouts.
  • Plot plans.
  • Piping layouts.
• Prepare and update 2D drawings and 3D models using design tools.
• Support senior designers in S3D/E3D modelling and drawing extraction.
• Perform basic:
  • ISO drafting and checking.
  • Back-drafting activities.
• Assist in pipe routing and layout development as per project inputs.
• Support preparation of Material Take-Off (MTO).
• Coordinate with engineering and senior designers for design inputs.
• Ensure adherence to project standards, specifications, and quality norms.
• Assist in reviewing vendor drawings under supervision.
• Follow safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of piping design and layout concepts.
• Familiarity with tools such as:
  • S3D.
  • AVEVA E3D / PDMS (preferred).
  • AutoCAD.
  • MicroStation.
• Understanding of:
  • Piping components and basic support concepts.
  • Engineering drawings and standards.
• Good learning attitude and willingness to grow.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

About You 

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
• 6+ years of relevant experience in piping design.
• Freshers with relevant training in S3D/E3D/PDMS may also be considered.
