Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Analyst with an analytical mindset to join our team.  This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in both quality assurance and business analysis, contributing to Infor's success. Motivated by contribution, with the ability to adapt to transformation and embrace change effectively The ideal candidate should have at least 4-5 year of experience in software testing or Business Analysis, a solid understanding of testing concepts, and technical skills in automation tools. The candidate should be able to get started on Functional/Automation Testing with minimal coaching or training and possess good logical and programming skills. The candidate will work on applications that are used organization-wide to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional and automation testing, including story-level test case design and regression suite creation.
• Analyse business processes/workflows to improve efficiency and application performance.
• Identify, document, and track defects, review production bugs and update regression coverage.
• Conduct regression testing during releases and sprints to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate with BAs, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in test automation efforts, code reviews, and maintain functional/automation scripts.
• Engage in daily Scrum and team meetings, providing updates and escalating issues when needed.
• Coordinate QA deliverables with peers and support team members with testing techniques.
• Create and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix for complete coverage.
• Analyse and document enhancements for usability and process improvements.
• Ensure smooth project transition with complete knowledge transfer and artifacts.
• Continuously explore and recommend automation opportunities to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications

• Degree in B Tech/BE (Specialization in CSE/IT/ECE) or M.Sc. (Computer Science) or MBA (preferred IT Applications for Management/Finance) or BCA or MCA.

Experience:

• 4-5 years of experience required in one or more of the following areas: web application testing, database testing, business analysis, or data analysis.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of software testing concepts and Agile methodologies.
• Good programming skills in Core Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Hands-on knowledge of automation tools and test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent.
• Exposure to AI tools, AI adoption for QA manual and automation
• Working knowledge of APIs and SQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices is a plus.

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to understand applications from an end-user perspective.
