Job Description
We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Front Desk Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel reception. The candidate should ensure excellent guest service, smooth check-in/check-out processes, staff coordination, and efficient handling of reservations and guest queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily front office operations and supervise front desk staff
- Welcome guests and ensure a pleasant guest experience
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
- Manage room reservations, bookings, and cancellations
- Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues professionally
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for smooth operations
- Monitor room availability and occupancy status
- Ensure proper billing, payments, and cash handling
- Train and guide reception staff on hotel standards and customer service
- Maintain records, reports, and guest databases accurately
- Ensure front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable
- Handle phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant hospitality qualification preferred
- Previous experience in hotel front office or hospitality management
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Good knowledge of hotel management software and booking systems
- Ability to handle guests professionally and solve problems quickly
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, billing systems, email handling)
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
