Retail Cashier

Job PurposeWe are looking for a smart, energetic, and customer-focused Cashier to join our Skechers retail team at SCC Mall. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling billing transactions, cash management, and providing an excellent checkout experience to customers while ensuring accuracy and compliance with store procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer billing through the POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Process payments through Cash, UPI, Debit/Credit Cards, Gift Vouchers, and other payment modes.
• Ensure proper cash handling and maintain accurate cash balances during shift opening and closing.
• Generate bills, invoices, and receipts as per company procedures.
• Assist customers with billing-related queries and provide courteous service.
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth customer transactions.
• Support exchange, return, and refund processes as per company policy.
• Maintain daily sales records and submit reports to the Store Manager.
• Ensure the billing counter is clean, organized, and operational at all times.
• Adhere to company policies, SOPs, and retail operational standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: Intermediate / Any Graduate.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier in Retail, Footwear, Apparel, Fashion, Lifestyle, Supermarket, or FMCG sectors.
• Freshers with good communication skills and computer knowledge may also apply.
• Basic knowledge of computers and billing software.
• Good numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
