Position Summary

We are looking for a **highly motivated and customer-oriented Salesman** to join the Super Electricals team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical products, excellent communication skills, and a drive to achieve sales targets. You will be responsible for assisting customers, promoting products, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.

## Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

- Greet and assist walk-in customers with product selection and technical guidance

- Understand customer requirements and recommend the most suitable electrical products

- Explain product features, specifications, warranties, and pricing clearly

- Process sales transactions accurately through the POS/billing system

- Achieve individual daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets

- Upsell and cross-sell products wherever appropriate to increase average order value

### Product Knowledge & Store Maintenance

- Develop thorough knowledge of all products stocked – from wiring, switches, cables to lighting, switchgears, fans, and industrial electrical supplies

- Stay updated on new product arrivals and promotional offers

- Maintain product displays – ensure shelves and racks are fully stocked, clean, and properly labeled

- Assist in stock receiving, verification, and storage as needed

### Customer Relationship Management

- Build long-term relationships with customers for repeat business

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally

- Follow up with customers for feedback and inquiries

- Maintain a customer database and contact regular buyers for promotions

### Reporting & Compliance

- Maintain accurate daily sales records and submit reports to the Store Manager

- Follow cash handling and billing procedures diligently

- Adhere to store safety, hygiene, and security protocols

- Report any maintenance issues, stock discrepancies, or customer concerns promptly

## Required Qualifications

- **Education**: Minimum 10th pass (12th or Diploma in Electrical stream preferred)

- **Experience**: 1–3 years of retail sales experience, preferably in electrical, hardware, or building materials

- **Language**: Fluency in Telugu, Hindi, and English (spoken) is mandatory

- **Communication**: Strong verbal communication and active listening skills

- **Numeracy**: Basic mathematics for billing, discounts, and calculations

- Basic knowledge of electrical products and their applications

- Familiarity with POS systems and billing software

- Persuasive selling skills with a customer-first attitude

- Basic computer skills (MS Excel / billing software) is a plus

## Working Conditions

- **Schedule**: Full-time, 7 days a week

- **Timings**: Store operational hours (typically 9:30 AM – 8:30 PM, with breaks)

- **Location**: Super Electricals, Hyderabad

- **Physical Demands**: Standing for long hours, lifting and moving stock when needed
