Job Description
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving vehicle sales, achieving revenue targets, managing the sales team, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring smooth showroom operations. The role involves lead generation, enquiry management, team development, local marketing activities, and coordination with finance, insurance, and service departments.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for motorcycles and scooters.
Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize showroom sales.
Monitor the sales funnel from enquiry to booking, delivery, and post-sales follow-up.
Drive sales of accessories, finance products, and insurance offerings.
Identify new business opportunities through local market activities, events, and corporate tie-ups.
Team Management
Lead, motivate, and mentor sales executives to achieve performance goals.
Conduct daily sales reviews, target allocation, and performance tracking.
Provide product and sales process training to the team.
Ensure adherence to company policies and showroom standards.
Customer Relationship Management
Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the buying journey.
Handle customer escalations and resolve complaints effectively.
Build long-term customer relationships to generate referrals and repeat business.
Monitor customer satisfaction scores and improve service quality.
Operations & Reporting
Monitor daily enquiries, test rides, bookings, deliveries, and conversions.
Coordinate with finance and insurance teams for vehicle loan approvals and documentation.
Manage inventory levels and coordinate vehicle availability with stock teams.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
3–7 years of experience in automobile sales, preferably in the two-wheeler industry.
Prior experience in team handling and dealership/showroom operations.
Valid driving license preferred.

Knowledge of vehicle finance and insurance processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM systems, and reporting tools.
