Science Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Teach Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as per grade level) according to ICSE curriculum guidelines.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans, worksheets, and practical/laboratory activities.
• Conduct regular class tests, unit tests, and assessments.
• Perform and supervise laboratory experiments safely and effectively.
• Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Prepare students for ICSE board examinations conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.
• Maintain laboratory records and ensure proper use of lab equipment.
• Maintain student attendance and academic records.
• Identify slow learners and provide additional academic support.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
• Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom.

Specific Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology).
• B.Ed. qualification preferred.
• Minimum 0–3 years of teaching experience (ICSE experience preferred).
• Strong subject knowledge as per the assigned grade level.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to conduct laboratory sessions safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
• Passionate about teaching and mentoring students.
