Senior Full Stack Solutions Engineer with AI Automation Expertise

ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Description:

In this role, you build and deliver AI-enabled full-stack solutions that support Contracting Operations and Revenue Management platforms within Amgen’s Global Commercial Operations and Corporate Functions Technology organization.

Your work will focus on integrating AI capabilities into practical full-stack solutions that reduce manual effort, improve data quality and increase process efficiency.  This role is suited for engineers who are comfortable working across multiple systems, learning new domains over time and owning delivery from concept through implementation. You will operate within a defined problem space, partnering with senior leaders to shape solution approaches and guide implementation across a small team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Build and deliver robust enterprise-grade full-stack AI applications using React, Node.js Python and Large Language Model APIs.
• Develop and support integrations using APIs and Middleware.
• Implement solution components across enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Databricks and Model N.
• Contribute to AI-driven use cases including workflow automation and lightweight assistant capabilities that enhance user productivity.
• Perform assigned tasks and collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver against priorities.
• Participate in testing (unit, integration) and support defect resolution, data fixes and issue troubleshooting within scope.
• Ensure adherence to design standards, best practices and documentation for maintainability and consistency.
• Escalate risks, dependencies, or design issues beyond scope and continuously expand skills across platforms and technologies

Technology Focus Areas:

• Implement generative AI full-stack applications and AI-driven automation solutions that enable workflow orchestration and process optimization.
• Develop scalable backend services using Node.js, microservices and APIs.
• Build and integrate front-end applications using React.
• Utilize enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Conga CLM/CPQ, Model N, Databricks and Anaplan to deliver integrated solutions.
• Work with AI assistants and copilots, vector search, embedding-based retrieval and prompt-driven workflows within enterprise platforms.
• Apply knowledge of data structures and models supporting contract lifecycle, pricing and revenue management processes.
• Integrate with enterprise AI services such as Azure OpenAI or similar platforms to enable advanced AI capabilities.

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree and 4-8 years of experience and
• 2+ years of experience in development of enterprise full-stack applications, including AI-enabled or automation-focused solutions.
• Experience building full-stack applications using Node.js, microservices architecture and frontend frameworks such as React.
• Experience with API integrations and data exchange across systems using Databricks.
• Exposure to AI orchestration frameworks, APIs and ML libraries, automation tools, workflows and scripting to build intelligent, scalable solutions.
• Experience working in a team environment with engineers, product managers or business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to execute defined tasks with guidance and follow established implementation approaches while delivering consistent, high-quality results

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Node.js, Java, React and Python-based automation.
• Exposure with AI orchestration frameworks, APIs and machine learning libraries.
• Familiar with Salesforce and Databricks.
• Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments.
• Demonstrated progression in taking on increasingly complex technical responsibilities within a team setting.
