Job Description

Senior Data Scientist

Supports business planning, execution and evaluation through the aggregation, analysis and interpretation of customer, transaction, product and other relevant data. Performs a wide range of research, analysis, development and interpretation functions to help the company capture relevant data and to understand and derive meaning from large and complex data sets. Creates capabilities based on AI, machine-learning, data mining and statistical processing for the analysis and automated processing of information from a variety of data sources. Partners with key stakeholders to turn data into insights and information to be used for business-focused actions and long-term strategic decisions. Works to ensure company data science applications incorporate state-of-the-art concepts, practices and methodologies.

Works with peers, colleagues, and more senior Data Scientists to develop relevant data collection and analytical methods through which to investigate noted challenges and develop meaningful insights.

Independently creates examples, prototypes, and / or demonstrations to help management understand how data / value may be extracted by leveraging various technologies.

Works with key client stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solution development proposals.

Uses machine learning algorithms and other tools to develop and execute data models.

Consults with key internal and external stakeholders to determine how to best leverage modeling and advanced analytic methods to support business / product decision-making.

Works with business leaders / partners to objectively evaluate data / findings and develop meaning with potentially transformative impact.

Clearly communicates findings, recommendations, and potential solutions to a variety of audiences. Required Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent work experience required.

Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Data Science.

Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
