DN is looking for a strong independent self-motivated candidate that can be integrated into our ACDE team of cloud-based development to provide higher level of intelligence to our Service organization by delivering sprint based feature deliverables to React UI applications.

Designs, creates, tests and improves React progressive web apps.  2 main applications that support both mobile and web have a backlog of improvements (small and large) to expand the utilization and reach of the tools.  This role will take a technical ownership in the evaluation, recommendation, design, implementation of the business requirements.  The release process, testing and deployment will be completed by automation and others on the team.  Support will be required to ensure a smooth transition to production.  This candidate will engage cross-functionally with other technical / engineering teams to drive a comprehensive solution. Ensures all systems function according to design, technical specifications, and security targets.

The main development work is expected to be done independently.  Collaboration with the team for code design, reviews and to ensure proper development adherence to best practices.  After the onboarding learning curve the division of time will be approximately 20%-30% of collaboration in meetings, chat, design reviews, overhead.   70%-80% of the time will be independent work including development, writing unit test scripts, etc.

The full team is distributed across 2 geographical regions including India & US staffed with talented and self-driven individuals.  Daily work will be completed remotely.

• Deliver on the user stories and development tasks as directed by the business
• Come up with creative ideas and industry best practices to resolve simple and complex issues
• Provides Development support and advice to members of the team, stakeholders and internal consumers
• Performance of React application as it is perceived by the consumer
• Plays a key role in relation to both internally developed and externally sourced technologies
• Participates in verification of complex technologies and components, SME (subject matter expert) of key features
• Ensures effective unit test creation, debugging and problem resolution
• Independent work with self-motivation
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots cross-functional production issues.
• Contributes to platform improvements dealing with automation, resilience, simplification and / or cost management.

Required Qualifications

• Development of Progressive Web App
• React / Typescript
• Knowledge of development for offline capabilities
• Not required, but desire knowledge of IndexedDB utilization and Service Worker
• Minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in sales, account management, and/or new business development (may be adjusted based upon local regulations or level of position)
• Good business English skills (written and spoken) 
• Diploma or equivalent work experience required
