Retail and Marcom Engineering, an IS&T team, builds and operates the systems and experiences that connect Apple's products with its customers. The team owns the technology behind both Apple's online and physical stores and drives the interactive marketing experiences and tools that keep creative operations moving. Together, those functions deliver the technology behind every product story Apple tells and every purchase a customer makes.

Description

Apple's IS&T team is looking for highly motivated and dedicated engineers to build the next generation of software services that powers several critically important applications. In this role you will be partnering with multi-functional teams across Apple. You will work closely with our business leaders and other partners to implement new solutions. The candidate must be able to work independently, understand the needs and build the solutions for sophisticated architecture and comfortable working under pressure at times.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience crafting and architecting distributed systems and concurrent programming.
Experience designing ecosystems for Web applications & API Platforms
Experience in rolling out distributed, large-scale, low latency web applications with REST, Data Caching Services,DB schema design and data access technologies
Experience with leading and mentoring Engineers
Understand security concepts and build reliable and safe distributed applications
Ability to successfully multi-task and support multiple, concurrent projects

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable enterprise grade solutions.
Experience with Java, Spring Boot and Microservices.
Experience with architecture, design and development
