What you can look forward to Specialist/Technical Lead - Electronics VAVE:

• Increases profitability by driving design changes or substituting suppliers by reducing overall BOM cost.
• Achieve target in Electronics cluster which was agreed according to OP planning year on year.
• Strategic partner for VAVE Team leaders (worldwide; member of the VAVE Team).
• Lead Idea Generation & assist in continuous improvement to enhance performance of ZF Products.
• Conduct Innovation and Idea Generation workshops with Internal & External stakeholders (suppliers) for Cost Down ideas.
• Visit suppliers (global locations) to analyze their manufacturing process/materials/tooling costs.
• Benchmarking of Competitor products and propose feasible cost saving ideas.
• Gain approvals for Engineering change requests, establish Business cases, revise project plans and report status to VMT Team.
• Execute the project plan, implement mechanisms to measure and record the progress. Conduct ongoing analysis including risks and changes.
• Support and initiate the implementation planning and track and control the implementation status of VAVE changes.
• Manage Stake holders with communication and deliverables - Timelines, change requests, Project status etc.
• Lead technical discussions and cross-functional project meetings.

Your profile as Specialist/Technical Lead - Electronics VAVE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering with general technical understanding of Electronic/Mechanical components is required.
• Min. 5+ years of work experience preferably in Value Management in Automotive Industry.
• Previous experience in cost reduction by design improvement is desired.
• Flexible, open minded, self-motivated and with an ability to lead teams without direct authority.
• Fluent in English language.
