Senior Software Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience collaborating in a globally distributed product and engineering team.
• Understanding of distributed systems architecture and database technologies.
• Excellent communication skills across engineering, product and business domains.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cross-functional environment, focusing on development and technologies within an ambiguous problem space.
• Mentor junior engineers and apply an understanding of Agentic experience/Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), Large Language Model (LLM), strong coding skills, and excellent communication abilities.
• Apply the research and software engineering skills as a machine learning expert, utilizing LLM, Reinforcement Learning in LLM or natural language processing expertise.
• Influence, design, and contribute to various Agentic/skills initiatives as part of Enterprise Knowledge Platform, Gemini Enterprise for Google, and Agentic experiences etc., while collaborating closely with Core Data/Cloud/Deepmind Organization.
