Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Lead, Quality Assurance to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in software testing and quality processes, proven leadership in mentoring and guiding QA professionals, and a passion for driving quality in enterprise-class products. This role combines hands-on functional and automation testing with leadership responsibilities to ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Define, implement, and maintain effective QA processes, test strategies, and best practices across functional, automation, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test coverage.
• Drive test automation initiatives, contributing to the design and implementation of automation frameworks (preferably using Python or related technologies).
• Review and enhance test plans, test cases, and automation scripts to ensure high standards of coverage, reusability, and maintainability.
• Perform functional, regression, system integration, and exploratory testing of enterprise-class applications.
• Ensure timely test execution, defect management, and reporting of QA metrics to stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement in QA practices and foster a culture of quality across the team and organization.
• Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in Quality Assurance and Automation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance with expertise in functional and automation testing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in leading, mentoring, or managing QA team members.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks, with hands-on experience in at least one automation framework (Python-based frameworks preferred).
• Experience working with enterprise-class products, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage)

• Experience working with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) products.
• Proven experience in designing or contributing to automation frameworks based on Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
