Job Description
Role Description:
The Technical
Manager (IFM) is responsible for managing overall technical operations in
facility management projects, including maintenance of electrical,
mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire & safety systems. The role ensures
smooth functioning of all technical services, compliance with safety
standards, client satisfaction, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
·
Manage overall technical operations of facility
management sites.
·
Handle maintenance of Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing,
DG, STP, Fire & Safety systems.
·
Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance
activities are completed on time.
·
Supervise technical staff, supervisors, and
technicians.
·
Monitor vendor performance and AMC activities.
·
Ensure statutory compliance and safety standards
at site.
·
Coordinate with clients for technical
requirements and issue resolution.
·
Maintain technical reports, logbooks, and
maintenance records.
·
Conduct regular inspections and technical audits.
·
Monitor energy consumption and implement
cost-saving measures.
·
Ensure availability of tools, materials, and
spare parts.
·
Handle emergency breakdowns and critical
technical issues.
·
Support smooth day-to-day facility operations.
·
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly technical
reports.
·
Ensure proper functioning of all utility
equipment and systems.
·
Coordinate with operations team for service
delivery.
·
Ensure client satisfaction through effective
technical support.
·
Follow company SOPs and safety procedures.
·
Train and guide technical team members.
·
Maintain high standards of service quality and
uptime.
