Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Business Development Executive to expand our solar energy business by identifying new customers, building strong relationships, and generating sales opportunities. The role involves promoting solar rooftop solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients, and coordinating with internal teams to convert leads into successful projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar rooftop installations.
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
- Meet potential customers to explain solar solutions, benefits, and return on investment.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and project details to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
- Coordinate with the technical and installation teams for project feasibility and execution.
- Follow up with leads and convert them into confirmed sales.
- Stay updated on solar market trends, government subsidies, and industry developments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales or business development (experience in solar/renewable energy is preferred).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to generate leads and close sales independently.
- Basic understanding of solar energy systems and government policies is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
