Job Description
North Indian Chef – Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced North Indian Chef with strong knowledge of traditional North Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare authentic North Indian dishes, curries, tandoori items, breads, and desserts.
- Plan and create seasonal menus.
- Maintain food quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.
- Manage kitchen workflow during service.
- Control inventory, food cost, and reduce wastage.
- Train junior kitchen staff.
- Follow food safety regulations.
- Coordinate with management for menu updates and special orders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in North Indian cooking.
- Good knowledge of spices, regional dishes, and cooking methods.
- Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Menu planning experience.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
