Interior Designer

We are looking for a Junior Interior Designer who is creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the complete process of interior design — from concept and moodboards to drawings, material selection, vendor coordination, and site execution.

This role is ideal for someone who has a good design sense, understands materials and finishes, and is comfortable working closely with architects, clients, vendors, contractors, and site teams.

We are looking for someone who does not just create beautiful concepts, but also wants to understand how those designs are practically executed on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in interior design projects from concept to execution.
• Prepare moodboards, presentations, layouts, furniture drawings, and detail drawings.
• Work on material palettes, finishes, lighting concepts, furniture selection, and styling ideas.
• Support the team in client presentations and design discussions.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, carpenters, electricians, painters, polishers, and site teams.
• Visit sites to check execution quality and ensure work is happening as per design and drawings.
• Take site measurements and prepare basic drawings accordingly.
• Assist in BOQs, material research, vendor follow-ups, and quotation coordination.
• Track pending client selections, approvals, material requirements, and site updates.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, samples, references, and project checklists.

Skills Required

• Basic understanding of interior design, space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, and site execution.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office/Excel, and presentation tools.
• Ability to prepare clear working drawings and furniture details.
• Good sense of colors, textures, proportions, lighting, and styling.
• Interest in residential, commercial, office, and hospitality interiors.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Comfortable with site visits and vendor coordination.
• Organised, sincere, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of AI tools for design research, moodboards, presentations, concept development, visual references, and improving workflow efficiency.
