Job Summary :

We are seeking a Packing Helper to support our dispatch team in packing, labeling, and preparing food items for orders. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically active, and committed to ensuring that every order is packed accurately, hygienically, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Packing & HandlingAssist in packing food products (snacks, ready-to-eat meals, dry fruits, etc.) as per company standards.

• Ensure proper labeling (batch codes, MRP, expiry dates, barcodes) is affixed to each package.
• Use appropriate packing materials (cartons, pouches, sealing machines, tapes) to maintain product safety.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness while handling food items.

2. Dispatch AssistanceCollect packed products and arrange them systematically for dispatch.

• Cross-check order lists vs. packed goods to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in loading/unloading cartons into delivery vehicles.
• Help in preparing dispatch notes and delivery slips under the supervision of the Dispatch Executive.

3. Order Processing SupportSupport the dispatch team in sorting, counting, and segregating items as per customer orders.

• Follow FIFO/LIFO methods to ensure proper stock rotation.
• Ensure all orders are processed within set timelines to meet dispatch schedules.

4. Quality & SafetyFollow food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines, company SOPs).

• Report damaged or incorrect products to the supervisor immediately.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse/dispatch area.

Requirements:

Education: Minimum 10th pass (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience: Prior experience in packing/warehouse/logistics preferred, but freshers are welcome.

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic literacy and numeric skills (to read order sheets, count products).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in packing.
• Ability to lift and move cartons/packages (moderate physical stamina required).
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Punctual, reliable, and disciplined.
• Work Conditions:Work involves standing for long hours and handling food cartons/pouches.
• May require extended hours during peak seasons (festivals, special orders).
• Uniform, gloves, and basic protective gear will be provided.
• Overtime allowance as per company policy.
• TA/DA (if supporting field dispatch).
• Meals/tea provided at workplace (if applicable).
