Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Field Visits & Recovery: Actively visit assigned delinquent borrowers to collect overdue payments.
  • Debt Negotiation: Negotiate feasible, mutually beneficial repayment plans with customers in arrears.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and accurate electronic/hard copy records of all communications and payments.
  • Reporting: Generate daily/weekly collection reports for submission to branch management.
  • Follow-ups: Send reminders, make calls, and send final notices to defaulting clients.
  • Compliance: Adhere to fair debt collection practices, legal regulations, and MFI policies.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain professional, firm, yet polite relationships with customers to encourage repayment.
