Accountant

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the daily financial operations of our busy HP gas station. This role requires meticulous daily tracking of all cash flows, stocks, and expenses, ensuring completely transparent and up-to-date financial records.

​Key Responsibilities: * Daily Financial Management: Record and manage all daily accounts, income, and expenses accurately.

• ​Daily Reporting: Prepare and send a daily finance and expense ledger report directly via WhatsApp at the end of each shift.
• ​Inventory & Stock Tracking: Maintain a precise, penny-to-penny record of all fuel stocks and station inventory, reconciling physical stock with financial data.
• ​Owner Updates: Provide timely and regular financial updates to the owner, immediately flagging any discrepancies or important financial matters.
• ​Tax Preparation: Compile, organize, and prepare all necessary financial data and ITR filings to hand over to the company Chartered Accountant (CA) for official filing.

​Requirements: * Proven experience as an Accountant, Finance Assistant, or similar role.

• ​Strong understanding of daily cash flow management, stock reconciliation, and basic ledger keeping.
• ​Ability to work every day and maintain consistency in daily reporting.
• ​Familiarity with preparing data for ITR filings and working with CAs.
• ​Excellent organizational skills and extremely high attention to detail (tracking every penny).
• ​Reliable communication skills and proficiency in using WhatsApp for professional reporting.
