Commissioning Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically sound Commissioning Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and executing commissioning activities for MEP systems across various projects. You will work closely with design teams, site teams, and clients to ensure systems are installed, tested, and operating as per design intent and project requirements. This role offers strong exposure to on-site execution, system validation, and performance optimization.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• 2–3 years of experience in MEP commissioning, testing, or site execution
• Exposure to commercial, residential, or institutional projects
• Basic understanding of HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems
• Key Responsibilities:Assist in planning and execution of commissioning activities for MEP systems
• Conduct testing and verification of systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
• Support preparation of commissioning plans, checklists, and reports
• Ensure systems are installed and functioning as per design specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site teams during commissioning
• Participate in site inspections, snagging, and closure of observations
• Support functional performance testing (FPT) and system validation
• Maintain proper documentation and records of commissioning activities
• Assist in troubleshooting system issues and recommending corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and safety norms 

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of MEP systems and commissioning processes
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of tools like AutoCAD is an added advantage
