Job Description
🏥 Senior Patient Counsellor – Hospital Experience Mandatory
We are looking for an experienced Patient Counsellor with prior hospital experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Counsel patients regarding treatments, surgeries, and hospital services
• Explain treatment plans, surgery packages, and estimated costs to patients
• Guide patients and attendants regarding admission and discharge processes
• Coordinate with doctors and hospital departments for patient management
• Handle patient queries and maintain follow-up records
• Convert patient inquiries into admissions through effective counselling
• Ensure excellent patient experience and satisfaction
Requirements:
• Minimum 1+ year experience as a Patient Counsellor in a Hospital
• Must have knowledge of hospital treatments, surgeries, packages, and billing processes
• Excellent English and Hindi communication skills
• Strong patient counselling and conversion skills
• Ability to explain treatment estimates and surgery quotations confidently
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, Email, HMS Software)
Preferred Candidate:
• Experience in counselling patients for surgeries, admissions, and treatment packages
• Knowledge of hospital quotations, insurance, and billing coordination
• Professional personality with strong communication skills
