Picker / Packer

Role Summary: As a Picker and Packer, you will be responsible for the first and most critical step of the delivery process. You will navigate the store to find items, ensure they are of high quality (freshness and packaging), and pack them securely so they reach the customer in perfect condition within minutes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Picking: Use the partner app to identify and locate products within the store shelves quickly and accurately.
• Quality Inspection: Check for expiry dates, physical damage, and freshness (especially for fruits, vegetables, and dairy) before picking.
• Secure Packing: Pack items neatly into delivery bags according to standards to prevent leakage or damage during transit.
• Inventory Management: Assist in restocking shelves, conducting inventory counts, and reporting low-stock items.
• Store Maintenance: Keep the aisles and packing stations clean, organized, and clutter-free to ensure maximum speed.
• Timely Handover: Ensure the packed order is handed over to the delivery partner within the designated turnaround time (TAT).

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: 10th Pass / 12th Pass preferred (Basic reading/writing skills in Hindi or English are required).
• Experience: Freshers are welcome! Prior experience in retail, warehouse, or e-commerce (Blinkit, BigBasket, Instamart) is a plus.
• Documents Required: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, and Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque.

Skills:

• Ability to use a smartphone and navigate mobile apps.
• Basic understanding of weights and measures.
• Speed and accuracy in a high-pressure environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Monthly Salary: ₹21,000 – ₹28,000 (Based on experience and interview).
