Procurement Executive

Job Summary

The procurement executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and goods required by Indian Art Villa. The role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards, timely deliveries, and efficient vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms for best value.
• Raise and process purchase orders (POs) as per company requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams for material planning and requirements.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
• Maintain accurate procurement and vendor records.
• Monitor inventory levels and support stock planning.
• Handle vendor communication and resolve supply or quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and approval workflows.
• Conduct market research for cost-saving and sourcing opportunities.
• Support invoice verification and coordination with the accounts team.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in procurement/purchasing
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Ability to manage vendors and deadlines
• Basic understanding of supply chain processes
