About the Role - Jaipur Furniture is looking for a responsible and experienced Production Supervisor to manage day-to-day manufacturing activities at our furniture production unit. The candidate will be responsible for supervising factory work, coordinating with different production teams, tracking order progress, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

This role requires someone who understands furniture manufacturing processes and can manage workers, materials, timelines, and production flow efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Production Supervision

• Supervise daily furniture manufacturing activities on the factory floor.
• Ensure production work is carried out as per approved design, order details, measurements, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with carpentry, sanding, polish, upholstery, fitting, packing, and dispatch teams.
• Track the progress of each order from start to completion.
• Ensure production deadlines are followed and delays are reported immediately.
• Allocate work to workers and ensure proper utilization of labour.

Factory Operations

• Manage day-to-day factory operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain proper coordination between office, production team, purchase team, and dispatch team.
• Check availability of raw materials before and during production.
• Inform management about material requirements, shortages, wastage, or delays.
• Ensure tools, machines, and equipment are being used properly and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and order on the factory floor.

Quality Control

• Inspect work at different production stages to avoid mistakes and rework.
• Ensure furniture is manufactured as per required finish, strength, size, and detailing.
• Identify defects in woodwork, polish, upholstery, hardware fitting, or finishing.
• Coordinate corrections before the product moves to the next stage.

Reporting & Coordination

• Maintain daily production updates and report order-wise progress to management.
• Keep records of work assigned, pending work, completed work, and delays.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for job cards, order details, material planning, and dispatch timelines.
• Report worker issues, production bottlenecks, machine problems, or quality concerns.

Required Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in furniture manufacturing, factory supervision, or production management preferred.
• Good understanding of furniture production processes such as carpentry, polishing, upholstery, hardware fitting, and finishing.
• Ability to manage workers and coordinate multiple production stages.
• Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of measurements, materials, hardware, wood, polish, and finishing quality.
• Ability to read order details, job cards, drawings, or basic production instructions.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be punctual, disciplined, and responsible.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in furniture, interior, modular, handicraft, or wood manufacturing industry.
• Comfortable working on the factory floor.
• Able to handle labour teams and maintain discipline.
• Should be practical, alert, and capable of solving day-to-day production issues.
• Basic Excel/WhatsApp reporting knowledge will be an added advantage.

Working Hours 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Includes lunch and tea breaks as per factory policy.
