Job Description
Key responsibilities & duties The Area Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets for solar panels, inverters, wires, and cables within the assigned territory. He or she develops and expands dealer and distributor networks to improve market penetration. The role includes managing and guiding the field sales team to ensure consistent performance and coverage. Building strong relationships with EPC contractors, installers, and key customers is a core responsibility. The manager monitors market trends, competitor activities, and pricing to identify growth opportunities. Ensuring timely order execution, stock availability, and payment collections is essential. Regular sales reporting and coordination with internal teams are required to support smooth business operations. MBA / PGDM in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
