Techincal Support- Chassis Design (Structure)

A purpose driven role for you

The Technical Support is responsible for carrying out benchmarking activities of competing brands and suggests VA/VE ideas. The role involves making and releasing drawings & 3-D models on CATIA and Team Centre.

A Day in the life

• Chassis systems layout & design of all parts and layout finalization.
CAD modelling (3 D modelling and 2 D drawing) for frames and structure components. (Sheet Metal, casting and forging as well).

• Preparing design manuals
Part & system level benchmarking & detail benchmark database generation.
Prepare document for design release

Academic Qualification & Experience

Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Good understanding of DFMEA and GD&T.
• Knowledge of required manufacturing process in frame design.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly process
• Vehicle level knowledge of adjoining systems & its impact on performance of vehicle.
