Technical Support- Release Management

A purpose driven role for you

• Responsible for vehicle BOM (bill of material) and drawing control in PLM System.
• Responsible for support as CFT member for SAP Material-BOM management
• Responsible for PLM Training, BOM Training, Drawing Making Training, etc.
• Responsible for identifying, highlighting, and supporting resolution of BoM related issues across the organization.
• Responsible for representing Release Management Team in Program Meetings to report planned vs actual release status, by program.
• Interface between R&D and Plant to support issue resolution.

A Day in the life

1. To control the BOM system for all New projects / Mass Production models
2. PLM Teamcentre Knowledge is must.
3. PLM & schedule manager support for new objects / business process / workflow / forms & dataset etc.
4. ECN Change Management Review.
5. Knowledge of Control / Storage of Drgs. And Specs. / Test Specs / standards
6. Triggering new ideas of improvement for Release Management Team.
7. Responsible that the prevailing processes and procedures within his department will be complied.

Academic Qualification & Experience

Diploma in Engineering

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Analytical and problem solving skill
• Deep Knowledge of Part Numbering System / BOM & Variant Management
• Knowledge of PLM

Behavioural Skills

• Strong sense of achievement and ownership
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
