Video Editor

We are looking for a highly creative, versatile, and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our fast-paced Digital Marketing Agency. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the visual identity of our diverse client portfolio.

You aren't just cutting clips; you are a strategic storyteller. You will take raw footage and transform it into high-converting Face Reels/Shorts, engaging multi-cam Podcasts, and immersive, high-production-value Ambience Videos. Because you have a background in the agency world, you already understand how to manage multiple brand guidelines, hook an audience in the first 3 seconds, and work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Short-Form Content (Face Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)Edit highly engaging, fast-paced "talking head" and face-cam reels.

• Implement dynamic text animations, kinetic captions, sound effects (SFX), emojis, and B-roll to maximize viewer retention.
• Stay ahead of social media trends, viral audio, and platform-specific formatting.

2. Long & Short-Form PodcastsEdit full-length multi-camera podcast episodes, ensuring seamless switching between speakers.

• Perform audio cleaning, balancing, and leveling (noise reduction, vocal enhancement).
• Repurpose long-form podcast episodes into "micro-content" nuggets (viral clips/shorts) with strong hooks.

3. Ambience & Lifestyle VideosCraft aesthetically pleasing, cinematic ambience videos for clients (e.g., real estate, hospitality, wellness, luxury brands).

• Master the art of pacing, using slow cuts, color grading, and sound design (ASMR, environmental audio, lo-fi tracks) to evoke specific moods.

4. Agency Operations & Brand ManagementManage multiple client projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.

• Strictly adhere to diverse brand guidelines, ensuring the correct fonts, colors, and tone are used for each respective client.
• Collaborate with social media managers, scriptwriters, and account managers to execute content calendars.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum 1+ years of proven experience working inside a Digital Marketing Agency.

Software Expertise: Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve (for color grading). Familiarity with After Effects (for basic motion graphics) and CapCut Desktop (for trendy social edits) is a major plus.

Audio Proficiency: Solid understanding of audio editing, mixing, and sound design (using tools like Adobe Audition or native Premiere tools).

Marketing Mindset: An understanding of viewer retention metrics, CTR, and hook strategies. You edit for performance, not just aesthetics.

Portfolio: A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing prior work in Face Reels (with captions), Podcast switching, and high-quality lifestyle/ambient content.
