Job Description
About the Role
Marwadi Traders is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. You will be responsible for creating engaging video content for our brand, products, and social media channels. The ideal candidate blends strong editing fundamentals with hands-on experience using AI tools to speed up workflow and boost quality.
Key Responsibilities
- *Edit raw footage* into polished videos for reels, ads, product showcases, and YouTube
- *Create short-form content* for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp marketing
- *Use AI tools* for tasks like auto-cutting, captioning, background removal, voiceovers, and script-to-video generation
- *Add motion graphics, text, transitions, and sound design* to enhance storytelling
- *Color correct and grade footage* to maintain brand consistency
- *Collaborate with marketing team* to understand briefs and deliver on deadlines
- *Manage and organize* project files, assets, and final exports
- *Stay updated* with video trends, platform formats, and new AI editing features
Required Skills & Experience
- *Experience*: 1-2+ years of professional video editing experience
- *Editing Software*: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut
- *AI Tools*: Hands-on experience with AI video tools like Runway, Pika, Descript, Opus Clip, Adobe Firefly, or similar
- *Design Basics*: Working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, or Canva for graphics/thumbnails
- *Technical Skills*: Sound editing, color correction, aspect ratio optimization, and compression for web/social
- *Creative Skills*: Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, hooks for first 3 seconds, and visual trends
- *Other*: Good communication, ability to take feedback, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects
Good to Have
- Experience editing e-commerce/product videos
- Basic script writing or content ideation ability
- Familiarity with Hindi + English captions/subtitles
- Knowledge of YouTube SEO
