Field Service Engineer

Position: UPS Repair Engineer

Location: Sodal Road, Jalandhar, Punjab

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based On Technical Skills)

Experience Required: 3–7 Years

Job Responsibilities

·        Diagnose, repair, and maintain Online UPS, Offline UPS, and Industrial UPS systems.

·        Troubleshoot faults at both the component and system levels.

·        Install, commission, and test UPS systems at customer sites.

·        Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable system performance.

·        Repair and replace faulty electronic components, PCBs, batteries, and other UPS parts.

·        Conduct load testing and performance checks after repairs.

·        Prepare service reports and maintain accurate repair records.

·        Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding UPS operation and maintenance.

·        Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.

Required Skills

·        3–7 years of hands-on experience in UPS repair and servicing.

·        Strong knowledge of UPS systems, SMPS, inverters, batteries, and power electronics.

·        Ability to read electrical and electronic circuit diagrams.

·        Experience using electronic testing equipment such as multimeters, clamp meters, and oscilloscopes.

·        Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

·        Strong communication and customer service abilities.

·        Willingness to travel for on-site service and repairs.

Preferred Qualification

·        ITI/Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.

·        Experience working with leading UPS brands such as APC, Vertiv, Eaton, Numeric, Microtek, Delta, or Emerson will be an added advantage.

·        Valid Two and Four wheeler driving license is preferred.
