Job Description
We are looking for an experienced EV Charger Technician to handle the installation, repair, and maintenance of electric vehicle charging stations. If you have hands-on experience with AC/DC fast chargers and field service, apply today!
Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Set up and commission new AC and DC fast chargers at different sites.
- Maintenance: Perform regular service checks to prevent equipment and machine failure.
- Troubleshooting: Visit sites to find and fix electrical or software faults.
- Testing: Use multimeters, clamp meters, and Meggers to test circuits and grounding.
- Safety: Follow local electrical codes and earthing standards to prevent safety hazards.
- Reporting: Keep clear digital records of work orders and parts used.
Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an Electrician or Field Technician.
- Education: ITI or Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of electrical wiring, circuit breakers, and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) safety.
- Tools: Skilled in reading electrical drawings and using electrical testing equipment.
- Travel: Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to different sites.
Preferred Qualities (Plus Points)
- Knowledge of EV charging standards like CCS, CHAdeMO, or Type 2.
- Good communication skills and professional behavior at client sites.
