Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Art Teacher to join our team at Sardonyx School, Jhajha. The selected candidates will be responsible for nurturing students’ creativity and artistic expression through structured and engaging art education.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Fine Arts / Visual Arts / Art & Craft (BFA preferred).
- Strong artistic skills in drawing, painting, and craft work.
- Prior experience working as an Art Teacher or a similar role in the Education Industry.
- Strong understanding of modern visual art techniques and methods.
- Extraordinary knowledge of modern art and architecture.
- Ability to oversee group activity.
- Ability to handle classes across different age groups.
- Exposure to the CBSE curriculum is an added advantage
Role & responsibilities
- Plan and Deliver Art Curriculum: Design and implement engaging art lessons aligned with CBSE guidelines.
- Develop Students' Creativity: Encourage imagination, originality, and self-expression through various art forms including drawing, painting, craftwork, and creative projects
- Teach Art Techniques
- Guide students in drawing, painting, craft, and the use of different materials and mediums.
- Organise Art Activities and Displays
- Conduct competitions, exhibitions, and contribute to school events and decorations.
- Assess and Support Student Growth
- Evaluate students' progress and provide individual guidance to nurture their artistic skills.
