Construction / Site Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities at project sites. The candidate will ensure that work is carried out as per plans, quality standards, and safety guidelines. This role requires strong coordination skills, on-site problem-solving ability, and efficient team management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Monitoring & Execution

• Supervise daily site activities, including labor management and material handling.
• Ensure construction work follows approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site workers for smooth execution.

2. Quality Control

• Check workmanship for civil activities such as shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, plastering, and finishing works.
• Ensure materials used meet required specifications.
• Report quality issues and support corrective measures.

3. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all workers follow safety rules.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards.
• Maintain a clean and organized site environment.

4. Material Management

• Monitor material usage and ensure minimal wastage.
• Check and record delivery of materials as per quantity and quality.
• Coordinate timely availability of materials to avoid site delays.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site reports, labor records, and progress logs.
• Assist in preparing measurement sheets and assisting engineers in documentation.
• Report site progress and issues to Site Engineer / Project Manager regularly.

6. Team Coordination

• Supervise labor teams, assign daily tasks, and ensure productivity.
• Resolve minor site issues and escalate critical problems when needed.
• Support engineers in maintaining project timelines.
