Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities1. Branch OperationsOversee day-to-day branch operations.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of cash, clearing, deposits, withdrawals, and remittance services.
  • Maintain branch security, housekeeping, and infrastructure.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of records and documentation.
  • Monitor ATM, digital banking, and customer service operations.
  • 2. Business DevelopmentAchieve branch business targets.
  • Mobilize deposits (Savings, Current, FD, RD).
  • Increase CASA growth.
  • Promote loan products including:
  • Personal Loans
  • Gold Loans
  • Vehicle Loans
  • Housing Loans
  • MSME Loans
  • Agricultural Loans
  • Cross-sell insurance, digital banking, and other financial products.
  • Develop business relationships with individuals, businesses, societies, and institutions.
  • 3. Credit ManagementAppraise loan proposals.
  • Verify borrower eligibility and documentation.
  • Monitor loan disbursement process.
  • Ensure timely recovery of loans.
  • Monitor NPAs and initiate recovery measures.
  • Maintain quality of loan portfolio.


  • 4. Customer Relationship ManagementEnsure excellent customer service.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Conduct customer meetings and financial awareness programs.
  • Improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • 5. Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with:
  • Banking Regulations
  • Cooperative Banking Rules
  • RBI Guidelines
  • KYC/AML norms
  • Internal policies
  • Coordinate internal and statutory audits.
  • Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • 6. Team LeadershipLead and motivate branch staff.
  • Allocate duties and monitor performance.
  • Conduct staff meetings.
  • Provide training and coaching.
  • Ensure discipline and productivity.
  • Build a positive work culture.
  • 7. Financial ManagementMonitor branch profitability.
  • Control operational expenses.
  • Improve business productivity.
  • Prepare branch business plans.
  • Monitor daily income and expenditure.
  • 8. Marketing & Community EngagementOrganize deposit mobilization campaigns.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, farmers, SHGs, cooperative societies, educational institutions, and government offices.
  • Participate in community development initiatives.
  • Increase the bank's market presence.
