Position Title - Facility Manager
Department - Administration & Facility Management
Reports To Founder & CEO – Mr. Karan Jounkani
Base Location - Mohan Tribeca Office (with daily travel across all properties)
Work Type
Full-Time | On-Site | Field-Based
Salary Range - ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)
Preferred Locations - Candidates from kalyan/ Ambarnath / Badlapur /Ulhasnagar preferred

ABOUT THE ROLE
Solsataa Hair & Skin Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and hands-on Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, upkeep, and smooth functioning of all company-owned properties. This role covers:
6 SALON STORES
(Mumbai: Kalyan, Thane, Dombivli, Varap | Bangalore: MSR, Bellandur)
1 SCHOOL PROPERTY
(Kangaroo Kids International Preschool)
2 ADDITIONAL COMMERCIAL
PROPERTIES (including Aakruti Spaces)
The Facility Manager will function as the single point of contact for all property-related maintenance, vendor coordination, and daily facility audits across all 9 properties, reporting directly to the CEO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintenance & Repairs Management
• Schedule and oversee timely AC servicing across all 9 properties (quarterly/as needed)
• Handle all electrical issues – wiring faults, MCB trips, lighting repairs, earthing checks
• Manage plumbing repairs, water tank cleaning, and drainage maintenance
• Coordinate civil work – wall patching, painting touch-ups, false ceiling repairs, signage upkeep
• Oversee pest control scheduling and execution across all locations
• Ensure salon-specific equipment (steamers, dryers, styling stations) are maintained in working condition
• Track warranty periods of all major equipment (ACs, geysers, inverters, etc.)
2. Daily Property Audits & Inspections
• Conduct daily physical audits of all properties on a rotating schedule
• Check cleanliness, hygiene standards, washroom conditions, and common areas
• Inspect fire safety equipment (extinguishers, smoke detectors) and ensure compliance
• Verify that all stores open/close as per schedule with all utilities functioning
• Identify and log any safety hazards, structural issues, or maintenance gaps
• Submit daily audit reports with photographic evidence to the CEO via WhatsApp/email
3. Vendor & Service Provider Management
• Build and maintain a reliable network of vendors – electricians, plumbers, AC technicians, carpenters, pest control agencies
• Negotiate service contracts and AMCs (Annual Maintenance Contracts) for cost optimization
• Ensure vendor work quality through on-site supervision and sign-off
• Maintain a vendor database with contact details, rate cards, and performance ratings
4. Inventory & Asset Tracking
• Maintain a master asset register for all properties (ACs, furniture, electronics, fixtures)
• Track consumables – cleaning supplies, electrical spares, plumbing fittings
• Coordinate timely procurement of facility-related supplies within approved budgets
• Conduct quarterly physical asset verification and report discrepancies
5. Compliance & Safety
• Ensure all properties comply with local municipal regulations and fire safety norms
• Coordinate periodic safety drills and maintain safety signage at all locations
• Keep records of all licenses, NOCs, and compliance certificates with renewal tracking
• Liaise with building management/societies for shared facility matters
6. Reporting & Communication
• Provide daily status updates to the CEO on maintenance activities and audit findings
• Maintain a centralized maintenance log (digital preferred) with issue tracking and resolution timelines
• Escalate critical issues (water leakage, power failure, equipment breakdown) immediately
• Prepare monthly maintenance expense reports and budget utilization summaries
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• Education: Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Facility Management preferred
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in facility management, property maintenance, or a similar hands-on role
• Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of AC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and basic civil work
• Communication: Able to communicate effectively in Hindi, Marathi, and basic English
• Mobility: Must own a two-wheeler and be willing to travel daily across all property locations
• Digital Literacy: Comfortable using WhatsApp for daily reporting, Google Sheets/Excel for tracking, and smartphone-based photo documentation
• Problem-Solving: Ability to assess issues quickly and coordinate repairs with minimal supervision
• Integrity: Honest, punctual, and accountable – this role operates with high trust and direct CEO reporting
WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a field-intensive role. The Facility Manager will be expected to physically visit multiple properties each day, often in varying weather conditions. The role requires standing, walking, climbing stairs, and occasionally supervising repair work in confined spaces. A strong physical fitness level and willingness to work flexible hours (including occasional weekends for urgent repairs) are essential.
