Job Description
- Job Title: Territory Retail ExecutiveReporting StructureReports to: Area Manager / First Line Manager
- Direct Reports: None
- Minimum QualificationsScience Graduate (Biology preferred)
- Minimum Experience2–3 years in Sales (FMCG / OTC preferred)
- Prior experience in OTC pharma is desirable
- Experience with MNCs or top Indian pharma companies is an added advantage
Job Summary
The role focuses on optimizing the availability and visibility of Pharmaceutical Company OTC brands at the point of purchase across pharmacies and retail outlets.
The Territory Retail Executive is responsible for:
- Driving sales
- Ensuring strong in-store execution
- Collaborating with retail partners and pharmacies
to maximize brand presence and product availability within the assigned territory.
- Key Responsibilities & Deliverables1. Driving Secondary SalesAchieve secondary sales targets
- Work closely with retail partners and pharmacies for Abbott’s product portfolio
- Winning in Retail StoresOnboard and partner with retail pharmacies
- Enhance product visibility
- Influence shoppers to choose Abbott brands
- Drive incremental growth
- 3. In-Store ActivationExecute below-the-line (BTL) activities in pharmacies
- Drive product trials and conversions
- Ensure strong product visibility
- 4. Product Stock ManagementMaintain adequate stock levels at retail outlets
- Ensure timely replenishment
- Support new product launches and placements
- 5. Retail Campaign ExecutionImplement targeted campaigns and promotions
- Collaborate with retail partners and aggregators
- Maximize campaign effectiveness
- 6. Retailer EngagementBuild strong relationships with retailers and staff
- Encourage advocacy for Abbott products
- 7. Partnership with DistributorsWork closely with wholesale distributors
- Ensure smooth stock flow and availability
- Support achievement of sales targets
