Job Description

eview prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.

Dispense prescribed medications accurately.

Counsel patients on dosage, administration, side effects, and storage of medicines.

Monitor for drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.

Maintain proper records of dispensed medications.

Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, hospital policies, and regulatory standards.

Manage pharmacy inventory and stock levels.

Check the expiry dates of medicines and ensure proper storage conditions.

Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy.

Handle controlled drugs according to legal requirements.

Participate in medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
