QA/QC Engineer

Preferred Skills & Competencies

·      Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Structural, Shop, and Fabrication Drawings.

·      Strong understanding of façade systems, louvers, aluminium cladding, glazing systems, steel support structures, and architectural metalwork.

·      Experience in preparation and closure of Inspection Requests (IR), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Site Observation Reports (SOR), and Corrective Action Reports (CAR).

·      Knowledge of Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and Project Specifications.

·      Experience in conducting material inspections, installation inspections, and final handover inspections.

·      Ability to verify alignment, plumbness, levels, tolerances, fixing locations, and workmanship quality.

·      Experience in coordinating consultant, client, and third-party inspections.

·      Familiarity with air-tightness, water-tightness, and performance testing procedures.

·      Strong documentation and record-keeping skills, including maintenance of quality dossiers and as-built records.

·      Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and preparation of quality reports.

·      Good communication and coordination skills for interaction with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, Clients, and Installation Contractors.

·      Ability to identify quality risks proactively and implement corrective and preventive actions.

·      Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and on-time project delivery.

·      Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems will be an added advantage.
