Job Description

Responsibilities

Patient registration.

Billing and appointment management.

 

 

Customer support.

Maintaining patient records.

Preparing daily MIS reports.

Coordinating with doctors and departments.

 

 

Eligibility

Graduate.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer knowledge (MS Office/Google Sheets).

Pleasant personality with customer-friendly attitude.

 

 

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum 10+2 (Higher Secondary) pass from a recognized board.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a Graduate degree in any discipline.
  • Candidates with a Diploma or Certificate in Computer Applications/Data Entry will be preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a dental clinic, diagnostic laboratory, pharmacy, hospital, or healthcare facility is preferred.
  • Freshers with excellent computer skills and communication abilities may also be considered.

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Good typing speed (minimum 30–40 words per minute) with accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Hospital Information System (HIS), Laboratory Information System (LIS), Pharmacy Management Software, or Clinic Management Software is desirable.
  • Ability to maintain digital records, billing, appointment scheduling, and patient registration.

Communication Skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in the local language and basic English.
  • Pleasant personality with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact courteously with patients, attendants, doctors, and staff.

Job Responsibilities

  • Register patients and maintain patient records.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the reception/front desk.
  • Perform accurate data entry for patient details, laboratory reports, prescriptions, and billing.
  • Handle telephone calls, patient inquiries, and follow-up communications.
  • Generate bills, collect payments, and issue receipts.
  • Coordinate with doctors, dentists, laboratory technicians, and pharmacists.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of records.

Other Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology is desirable.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Honest, punctual, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Physically fit to perform routine office and front desk duties.

Age Limit

  • 18 to 35 years, or as per the organization's recruitment policy.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in NABH/NABL-accredited healthcare facilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and pharmacy billing.
  • Familiarity with online payment systems, digital documentation, and email correspondence.
  • Basic understanding of patient registration, insurance/TPA documentation, and healthcare record management.
