Tally Operator

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Tally Operator to handle day-to-day billing, accounts entries, and MIS reporting for our Titan watch distribution business. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records across sales, purchase, and inventory functions in Tally.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and manage sales invoices, credit/debit notes, and purchase entries in Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime
• Maintain dealer-wise outstanding ledgers and follow up on bill-wise OS reports
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports — sales summaries, stock positions, collection status
• Reconcile physical stock with Tally inventory records
• Process sales returns and maintain accurate voucher entries
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely billing and dispatch documentation
• Maintain GST-compliant records and assist during monthly GST reconciliation
• Generate reports as required by management — party ledgers, stock reports, ageing analysis

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime (mandatory)
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred)
• Understanding of GST, basic accounting principles
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle daily billing volume

Preferred

• Prior experience in FMCG / electronics / watch / distribution company
• Familiarity with bill-wise outstanding and ageing reports
