Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and passionate Head Chef to lead the culinary operations at our luxury property located in Karjat. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in multi-cuisine operations with a strong background in à la carte dining and premium hospitality environments. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional culinary standards, leading kitchen operations efficiently, and delivering outstanding guest dining experiences aligned with luxury hospitality expectations.
Immediate joiners will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the complete kitchen operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of all culinary activities.
- Plan, develop, and execute innovative multi-cuisine menus while maintaining consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Ensure exceptional standards in à la carte service and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise food preparation, portioning, plating, and presentation as per luxury hospitality standards.
- Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, food safety, and HACCP standards.
- Monitor food cost, wastage control, inventory management, and kitchen budgeting effectively.
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen team members to achieve operational excellence.
- Coordinate with management and service teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and utilized efficiently.
- Stay updated with current culinary trends, market standards, and guest preferences.
- Candidate Profile Proven experience as a Head Chef / Sous Chef in luxury hotels, resorts, fine dining restaurants, or premium hospitality brands.
- Strong expertise in multi-cuisine operations.
- Hands-on experience in à la carte restaurant operations is mandatory.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of food production, kitchen administration, and cost control.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and presentation standards.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts.
- Minimum 6–10 years of relevant culinary experience in reputed hospitality establishments.
