Job Purpose

Responsible for Opex & Capex budgeting, monitoring & Control

Vendor Management

Enhanced responsibility and accountability due to inhouse operations

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

• Budget preparation and control of Opex & Capex
• Preparation of BOQ/BOM, BPA, PR , PO
• Material and warehouse control
• Preparation of GRN
• Control and audit of expenses and bills
• Work closely with regional and circle Fiber planning leads, finance and SCM function to deliver VIL objectives. 
• Reporting to Planning & Deployment Lead

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

• 8-10 years of Telecom experience and Proficiency in understanding overall transport NW architecture and key cost drivers.
• Understanding of IP/MPLS & Optics NW architecture to build scalable fiber NW.    
• Sound understanding of Capex and budgetary skills to derive best out of NW at lowest possible cost.
• Strong leadership skill, team building and inter-personal relationship skill to excel cross functional projects and ensure best customer experience. Ability to make timely decisions and troubleshoot with strong vendor governance.
• Overall understanding of financial model to support new Fibre vertical. Also should have clear understanding of evolving Govt. policies related to ROW, so as to align the process for optimizing the cost.
• Strong Stakeholder management, Negotiation skills and Strategic mind set to make win-win alliance with TSP partners and IRU partners.
