Account Assistant

• 1. Financial Record KeepingMaintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers using accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks).
• Handle Accounts Payable: Processing vendor invoices for raw materials and factory overheads.
• Handle Accounts Receivable: Generating invoices for wholesalers, retailers, and corporate clients, and following up on overdue payments.
• 2. Manufacturing & Inventory AccountingMonitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) and finished goods inventory valuations.
• Coordinate with the production team to reconcile physical stock with book records.
• Assist in calculating the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for different chair models.
• 3. Statutory Compliance & BankingPrepare and file periodic tax returns (GST/VAT, TDS, etc.).
• Perform monthly Bank Reconciliations to ensure all factory expenditures are accounted for.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets.
• 4. Payroll & Expense ManagementProcess monthly payroll for factory workers and administrative staff.
• Verify and reimburse petty cash expenses and travel claims for the sales team.

## Required Skills & QualificationsFeatureRequirementEducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com).Experience2–4 years in an accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing setup.SoftwareProficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and accounting ERPs.Soft SkillsHigh attention to detail, strong ethical standards, and a knack for meeting deadlines.## Why This Role MattersIn a factory environment, every screw and caster wheel has a cost.
