Job Description
- Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and spares against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Accurately record receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments in the ERP/inventory system ( SAP B1)
- Maintain optimum stock levels; trigger reorder points and generate material requisitions following approved procedures
- Pick, pack, and dispatch materials to work sites or internal departments; coordinate intra-site transfers
- Cycle-count and conduct physical inventories; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors for urgent requirements, returns, and quality issues
- Prepare and maintain storeroom documentation: stock cards, bin cards, inspection reports, and audit trails
- Ensure proper storage conditions, labeling, and segregation of hazardous and high-value items
- Keep the storeroom clean, organized, and compliant with safety and 5S standards
- Assist in disposal, transfer, or auction of obsolete or surplus inventory per company policy
- Support ad hoc projects—site relocations, plant shutdowns, and special equipment moves.
