Under general supervision creates reports for data intensive system as per documented requirements, following all standards practices and processes. 
Would be responsible for overseeing junior developers on projects and supporting various development duties. The responsibilities of senior developers include writing code, analyzing data, and contributing to the design and implementation. Should demonstrate creativity and innovation, ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment, and possess excellent communication skills. Should have extensive experience in software development and its practices and processes, be able to keep up-to-date, and have strong analytical skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Primary responsibility would be at an individual contributor level, following SDLC and other processes.
•    Understanding Business Requirements/needs & Technical Requirements and translating them into comprehensive reports.
•    Reviewing code work for accuracy and functionality.
•    Creating and implementing design plans.
•    Analyzing code regularly.
•    Ensuring accuracy and reliability in the data presented.
•    Delegating tasks to junior team members and/or assisting them.
•    Keeping up to date with industry trends and technology developments.
•    Interacting with relevant teams and other team members to gather requirements, identify relevant data sources, and devise the best approach to presenting the information.
•    To design and deploy data extraction and transformation (ETL) processes to meet reporting and other business needs. (N)
•    Performs other duties as required.
•    All responsibilities are essential job functions unless noted as nonessential (N).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•    Degree in information technology, computer science, or related.
•    3-5 years of Software Development experience.
•    2-4 years of Reports/BI experience.
•    Strong SQL and Relational database experience, for example: PostgreSQL or ORACLE SQL or MSSQL.
•    Possess good working knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and technologies.
•    Preferably possesses experience in AWS and/or other Cloud Technologies.
•    Preferably possesses Health Care domain knowledge.
•    Preferably possesses experience in ETL development and/or other coding languages.
•    Possess fine-tuned analytical skills and be very detail oriented.
•    Ability to work well with colleagues from different aspects of the work environment.
•    Displays good interpersonal & communication skills.
•    Ensure quality, compliance and adherence to development methodology.
•    Knowledge and understanding of Agile methodology.
•    Adept in using tools like JIRA.
