About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant / Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, statutory compliances, taxation, and financial reporting for a pharmaceutical distribution company. The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounts, GST, TDS, TCS, finalisation of books, audit coordination, and compliance-related activities.

Experience in pharmaceutical distribution, wholesale trading, or FMCG distribution will be preferred.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & BookkeepingMaintain complete books of accounts accurately and on time
• Handle purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal entries, and bank entries
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliation
• Maintain debtor and creditor records
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payment schedules
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial summaries
• GST CompliancePrepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and related filings)
• Reconcile purchase and sales data with GST portals
• Handle GST notices, reconciliations, and departmental queries
• Ensure proper GST treatment on invoices and transactions
• TDS & TCS ComplianceDeduct and deposit TDS/TCS within timelines
• Prepare and file TDS returns
• Issue TDS certificates and maintain related records
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax provisions
• Finalisation & AuditAssist in finalisation of books of accounts
• Coordinate with CA, auditors, and consultants
• Prepare schedules, ledgers, and documents required for audits
• Support statutory audit, tax audit, and internal audit processes
• Compliance & DocumentationMaintain statutory records and compliance documentation
• Ensure timely filing of all applicable returns and payments
• Maintain proper documentation for pharmaceutical distribution operations
• Support management in financial planning and compliance tracking
• Operational CoordinationCoordinate with billing, warehouse, and operations teams
• Verify invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and inventory-related accounting entries
• Monitor stock-accounting alignment where required
• Skills & Requirements3–8 years of accounting experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical distribution, trading, wholesale, or FMCG preferred
• Strong knowledge of:

Salary Range₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month
