Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in Tally Prime and maintain proper accounting records.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial health of the organization.
• Review accounting entries and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Accounts Receivable & Revenue Management

• Oversee invoicing, collections, and customer account management.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and implement strategies for timely collections.
• Review aging reports and follow up on overdue payments with clients and internal teams.
• Resolve complex billing and payment-related issues.

Financial Reporting & MIS

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Generate MIS reports, revenue analysis, profitability reports, and receivables summaries.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure timely closure of monthly and yearly accounts.

Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Review GST returns, TDS filings, and tax reconciliations.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
• Ensure proper maintenance of statutory records and financial documentation.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor budget utilization and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze financial performance and recommend corrective actions where required.

Team Management & Coordination

• Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounts team.
• Allocate responsibilities and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, HR, and other departments for financial data and approvals.
• Establish and improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Accounts Management.
• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting principles.
• Sound understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and MIS preparation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Media, Advertising, Marketing, or Service Industry.
• Exposure to Audit Coordination and Financial Planning.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Dashboards, and Financial Analysis.
• Experience in ERP systems and process automation.
