Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Manual Jewellery Designer to create innovative and market-oriented jewellery designs by hand sketching. The candidate should have strong knowledge of jewellery aesthetics, design trends, gemstones, and manufacturing feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Create hand-drawn jewellery sketches and design concepts
- Develop unique and customized jewellery designs as per customer requirements
- Prepare detailed design sheets for production reference
- Coordinate with CAD designers, craftsmen, and production teams
- Research current jewellery trends, themes, and market demands
- Suggest design improvements for better aesthetics and manufacturability
- Ensure designs align with brand standards and customer expectations
- Maintain design records and portfolios
- Assist in developing seasonal and exclusive jewellery collections
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hand-sketching and rendering skills
- Good understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of gemstones, diamonds, and metal detailing
- Creativity with attention to detail
- Ability to understand customer preferences and market trends
- Preferred ExperienceExperience in gold, diamond, bridal, or custom jewellery designing preferred
- Experience working with jewellery workshops/manufacturing units is an advantage
